On tap at Haand 2013. Pours hazy brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is smoke, peat and some malts. Taste is light sweet malty, plenty of tar and smoke presence. Medium bodied.

Lett sødmerik og røykt lukt med preg av lettrøykt malt, humle, fjøs, karamell, lettrøykt skinke, gras. Frisk lett tørr smak med preg av malt, humle, tre, karamell, røykt skinke, gras, høy. God bitterhet som set litt. Grei.

Sampled from tap at Haandøl 2013. Nose reminiscent of a matchbox with mixed used and new matchsticks. Mouth is pungent smokey acidic and sweet with pleasant vanilla notes. Full bodied, dry tongue. Clar orange colored body with a light brown film.

Backlog. On tap @ BBF 2009 (and some later @ In De Wildeman). Red-brown bolor. Not much head. Aroma’s: smoked, herbal (juniper), with a light acidity retronasal. Flavor is smoky, medium bitter. Body is medium. Long finish, bitter & herbal. Interesting.

0.15 @ Haand. Red, brown colour with a offwhite medium head. Smoked with hints of pinefur and caramel. Ash smoke taste, quite bitter. Lasting aftertaste.

Clear amber with low off-white head.
Salami aroma. Charred wood, sweet malt, and bread.
Taste too smokey again in a meaty sausage way. Well made beer but not my type. Too smokey but an nice bock may lure underneath?

On tap at Mikkeller Bar, pours a deep dark orangey amber with a small beige head. Aroma of peaty malt, and toasted nuts -- very subtle. Flavour of smoked malt, toasted nuts, and musty earthy notes. Another very smoky one from Narke and not very elegant. Decent stuff.

Pours hazy copper color with a small head. Aroma of ripe fruits, whisky notes, caramel and malts. Flavour is the same with some berries and smoke. Quite sweet and woody. Odd.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy murky amber colour. Aroma of smoked meat, strong malts and grass. Flavour of peat, smoked malts and grass. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel. Warming and peaty doppelbock.
