COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hi Neighbor! Great-Grandfather DeLucia made his first frozen lemonade back in Italy in 1840. During the winter he carried snow into nearby caves and insulated it with straw. When summer arrived, he mixed the snow with fresh, local lemon juice and sugar, making a refreshing drink. His grandson, Angelo, introduced this icy treat to Rhode Island in 1948, and today there are over 30 Del’s stands across America. ’Gansett is proud to present this delicious Shandy with the perfect balance of Narragansett Lager and lemon flavor. It’s refreshingly different!

Can. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. A big sweet lemon candy nose. The flavor is sweet sugary notes, lemon soda, oddly not a ton of carb. Ok.

Poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was lemonade and light grain. Flavor similar, actually refreshing.

Can from Tally Trader Joe’s mostly for the RI tick but also because I’m hoping for some summer refreshment. I guess overall its okay. You can definitely taste the base lager so at least any sweetness isn’t overpowering. I like the slight hit of tartness too from the real lemon juice.

A little light in color but a good summer (hot weather) drink. You can smell the lemon/lemonade scent and the taste is nice, not a lot of beer taste but it's a good summer option ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not bad! The aroma is just what you’d get going into a pub and asking I r a lager shandy back in England. The problem I guess is that it has a pithy bitterness. Like too much lemon peel was included. I’m still not entirely sure why Brewers are making these when they are so easy to make at home but it’ll do in a pinch.

Can. Big frothy head. Aroma of straight lemonade. Too tart and sweet at first but, it quickly mellowed to a decent summer brew for a hot afternoon. With that said, I wouldn't get this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours a clear light orange with a moderately lasting white head. Refreshing beer with notes of lemonade, biscuity malt flavours. Enjoyable for a hot day.

Il faisait 37 degrés à la campagne hier. Ma blonde à acheté une caisse au Craft Beer Cellar. C’est une bonne limonade avec des traces évidentes de bière pâle et même de blé. Rafraîchissante, facile à boire, shandy style.

Very good. Not too sweet. Light colored. Worth a try but can’t have too many of them. Pleasant.
