We brew our light beer to the same high standards that our founders established way back in 1890. Itís no surprise that íGansett has been the beer of choice around here for more than a century. If youíre not drinking Narragansett, youíre not from New England.

Can. Pours clear gold. Aroma is straw and pale malts. Flavor is not much else with a mostly bland malt profile and seemingly nonexistent hop character. Light body.

From a can. Pours clear gold with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like doughy malt, and faint musky grains. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like doughy malt and faint musky grains.

16 oz pounder can. Aroma is light bready dough and weak hops with a hint at lager yeast.

Body is thin and watery as you would expect, real thin. But the flavor is bad. Just not much here. Grain, old malts, some mild fruit like note. No hops or bitterness at all. Drinkable for a pale lager I guess.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into pint glasses and pilseners. The head lasts way longer in the pilsener glass. The appearance was a nice clear yellow color with the carbonation rising at a decent pace. There was a moderate amount of carbonation seen rising. The smell was a light sort of sweet corn. The taste was mainly sweet and didnít have much else going on. It sat super light on the palate and had a decent light carbonation running about it. Overall, decent beer for the style. I canít say anything bad about and nor can I say anything to hype it up.

Draft. Complete garbage juice. Sweet. Unbalanced. Over carbonated. Dumpster juice. A very odd flavor of so etching I quite canít place. Like a plastic or something. Gros

This is the third style from Narragansett Iíve had, and so far Iím impressed! I usually consider light beer an abomination of nature. But this is really nice! Average looking pour with a *BRIGHT* white head. Grassy, corn water aroma. Like all light beers it has a watery mouth feel. Very crisp, pleasant taste. Scant hops, but some yeasty biscuit and sweet corn in the backdrop. Way too light on the alcohol content. But this is an excellent thirst quencher. Great for a lawn mowing beer or just as a cold one on a hot summer day. This is one of the best light beers ever! I paid $4.99 for a sixer of pint cans on 06/01/2013 @ Woodmans.
