COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We brew our light beer to the same high standards that our founders established way back in 1890. It’s no surprise that ’Gansett has been the beer of choice around here for more than a century. If you’re not drinking Narragansett, you’re not from New England.

Draft. Complete garbage juice. Sweet. Unbalanced. Over carbonated. Dumpster juice. A very odd flavor of so etching I quite can’t place. Like a plastic or something. Gros

16 oz can. Pretty nice light pale lager at a hot isomer BBQ. Not a particularly good beer pretty easy drinking. Light toast. Cereal. Not much in the wag of hops. Fine.

This is the third style from Narragansett I’ve had, and so far I’m impressed! I usually consider light beer an abomination of nature. But this is really nice! Average looking pour with a *BRIGHT* white head. Grassy, corn water aroma. Like all light beers it has a watery mouth feel. Very crisp, pleasant taste. Scant hops, but some yeasty biscuit and sweet corn in the backdrop. Way too light on the alcohol content. But this is an excellent thirst quencher. Great for a lawn mowing beer or just as a cold one on a hot summer day. This is one of the best light beers ever! I paid $4.99 for a sixer of pint cans on 06/01/2013 @ Woodmans.

Light corn and malt aroma. Yellow with a hint of gold color. Head quickly dissipates. Mild bitterness with a hint of sourness. Hard detect an actual flavor. Has a clean and bubbly finish.

16 ounce can from Nikki’s Liquors. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of crackery malts and grassy hops. The taste is pale malts, corn and a grassy finish. Medium bodied and fairly clean. About what you’d expect for a light beer.

From the 16 fl. oz. can marked 1891-0017. It pours straw yellow with a short-lived fizzy white head. On the nose there are grains, malts, corn, and a hint of hops which is typical for the style. The body is thin. The taste has a noticeable grainy but sweetish character and a clean, crisp hop ending. A light beer is a light beer is a light beer. No better or no worse than its counterparts.
