really this is just blowing me out of the water. Deep golden color with medium head. Smells of just a rich sweet barley with a slight hay hopiness. Taste is so well balanced bitter and sweet. A simple style done just so perfectly right. Understated perfection.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 rondphoto (983) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - APR 11, 2013
Clear dark orange amber with a big frothy off-white head, and heavy streaks of lace. This brew earns its accolades - taste is clean caramel malt that is quickly joined by strong bittering, with both sides rolling straight through the finish. A big mouthful of taste, with a good balance between the sweet and bitter, while maintaining a light effect. Highly recommended.

Pours a dark golden color thin tan head. Aroma of pine/spruce, floral, citrus. Mild malt sweetness. Medium body, strong bitter finish, dry hopping evident. The alcohol is not masked as much as I expected. Not bad overall.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber/copper with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops with hints of pine plus a little caramel and pale malts and bread. Flavor the same with a good blend, but the hops and malts could both be stronger. Average texture. Not a bad beer, but it could be better.

Piney citrus aroma. Clear copper like color. Healthy two finger head. Bitter taste but with a finish on the clean side. Not a bad sipping Ale.

It pours an amber color with a one inch foamy white head, it quickly dies to a small head. Minimal lacing is left in my nonic. The smell is initially hoppy but as it warms up the malts combine a lot nicer to the hops and show a really nice blend of sweet to bitter, resiny, piney and citrusy. The taste is initially bitter, but tones down to a great complex combination between sweet and bitter between the hops and malts, nothing showing exact certain flavors, but a great combination. The palate is about a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. The warmer this beer gets, the smoother it feels on the tongue. Its not as drinkable, but hey, its the style, so don’t knock it that its not that drinkable. It leaves a dry and bitter aftertaste and finish. Overall, not bad, not superb, but hey I’d come back to this depending upon what else was at that location when I need a beer.

Hazy orange with medium small off white head. Aroma generalized hops and malt. Medium full body. Alcohol is noticeable. Hoppy and malty flavors that battle a bit rather than balance. Alcohol is a little too prominent. Nice bitterness. Decent but does not all come together just right.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Rrauth (637) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Bomber. Crystal Clear amber color tan full head. Has a weird twang that must be from the hops I'm not familiar with. Aroma is very caramel malt. Pungent feeling.
