mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA Apr 23, 2007 pours a hazy brown/copper. nutty, malty aroma. Taste follows well, with a nice malt backbone. Hop finish at end could be stronger, but as this is modeled after the english version, it goes with the style. Overall nice. hophead75 (1648), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Feb 26, 2007 sampled on tap at the brewery. clear golden in color with a large head. Aroma is floral hops and some trace notes of caramel. Taste is the same, rather thin on the palate, nothing too exciting here.
