12 oz. bottle purchased at the brewery/winery. Pours a hazy copper color, kind of like an old penny, with a 1 finger off white head. Some lacing. Subdued floral hop aroma with vanilla/oak notes. Caramel and oak flavor with more hoppiness than the aroma would suggest. Moderate bodied, but a bit flat. Could have used more carbonation.

So, my boss brings back a haul from Nashoba, along with a lot of other NE regionals... and I get the feeling that Nashoba must be a better winery than a brewery. There were definitely some dodgy brews. Considering that this AIPA is not one of my favorite styles, this was pretty servicable. Brown-gold, foggy, odd label. Big AIPA aroma - nice and hopey and caramelly. Standard AIPA - with grassy and starchy notes. Medium body. Fairly crisp.

12 oz Bottle from the "Vinyard" via a friend. Pours a hazy amber with small white head. Aroma oddly enough is very faint....notes of earth, pine with light ripe fruit. Flavor has signs of malt, earthy hop, light astringent with a weedy, dirty bitterness at the end that lingers. Mouth feel is medium body with a some what watery back ground and high carbonation. Overall, I’m not a fan.

A nice amber body with a white head, little retention and no lace. Aroma had a heavy malt note, mainly caramel and some pine hops. Flavor had some good bitterness and nice malts but nothing out of the ordinary. At some points it seemed to have some astringency. Finish was smooth.

Another from the winery- poured a light caramel, small foam head. This one a muddle of hops and malts. Thin body, some hop dryness in the end.

pours a hazy brown/copper. nutty, malty aroma. Taste follows well, with a nice malt backbone. Hop finish at end could be stronger, but as this is modeled after the english version, it goes with the style. Overall nice.

sampled on tap at the brewery. clear golden in color with a large head. Aroma is floral hops and some trace notes of caramel. Taste is the same, rather thin on the palate, nothing too exciting here.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a hazy medium orange color with a small off white head which leave a layer of bubbles in the center, some lacing and a ring of bubbles around the edges. Malts, pine and notes of caramel and flowers. Medium bodied and well carbonated. Ending is of aromatic hops.
