1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BeerPrince (1701) - Vancouver, - SEP 10, 2007
Straight from Whitespot, this pale ale is light maber with small head. Light biscuity aroma with faint hops. Thin, a touch sweet and not enough hops for flavouring.

On tap at white spot in Richmond. Copper colour. Missing the maltiness and hopiness that I expected. Not so great

Draught Served in a frosted glass, uh. Hazy amber color; small creamy head. Remarkable for its absence of aroma and flavor, and bitterness; a new achievement.

Deep amber, thin off white head. Aroma is malty caramel, light yeast. Taste is lightly malted, caramel, mild hoppiness.

Decent level of head and an amber body, vague aroma of malts Very drinkable, but very simple. A reasonably good choice if you’re at a White Spot restaurant and need something with a burger.

Had, of course, at the White Spot. Drinkable, looks better than it tastes (or smells, for that matter). Not great, but at least better than the Canadian or Coors LIght or whatever other muck the ’Spot dishes out.

Mijn eerste bier in Canada. Gedronken in het restaurant van het hotel.
Geen schuim, maar dat zal wel zo horen hier in Vancouver. Smaakt wel goed.

Like most raters, it seems, I had this on tap at Whitespot. Came in a pint glass with a nice ruby-amber hue and minimal head. Aroma had weak hints of biscuity malt, earthen hops and grain. Taste was grainy with bitter hops and a trace of caramel. Mouthfeel was a little sticky with flat carbonation and an unbalanced bitter aftertaste. Probably the best brew at Whitespot but not one of my favorites.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 7, 2007
Draft @ The White Spot in Kelowna. Dark amber body with a small white head. Flavour is fairly sweet. Almost leaves the impression of being under attenuated. Burnt caramel and malt notes. Light toasty notes in the flavour, sweet sticky malt throughout. Very muted aroma, caramel and caramel malt, sweet. Average palate. Quaffable but dull.

Draught. Very small white head. Clear amber body. Sweet aroma with notes of berries. Fresh hops flavor with a hint of berries and a good deal of carbonation.
