The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts quite hoppy, modest sweet. Finish is more spicy, well balanced, still sweet. A good one!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a thick foamy white head. Mildly grainy pale malty aroma with a doughy touch as well as herbal and slightly grassy hops. Moderately bitter flavour with a light malty sweetness, light to medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Quite soft and sourdoughy malty base with herbal hoppy accents, drying the brew towards the moderately hop bitter and slightly metallic finish. Still a decent example of the style. 21.V.10

bottle, bought in Giengen. Clear golden yellow colour, mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Malty background with a shy fruity character that included a weak sourness and hints of oak wood. Good hop profile, especially in the lingering finish that includes citrusy hop flavours..
