(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a big but loose frothy off-white head. Slightly yeasty and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of dark berries, banana and a shy clovy touch. Slightly sweet flavour with a shy tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Yeasty and slightly toasty malty taste with a present wheat character and fruity accents; moderately sweet and slightly sour finish with a whiff of phenolic spices. 28.VII.10

Hazy - murky medium amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light malty, caramel, wheat, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, phenol, yeast. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20111112]

bottle from Getränke Göbel Giengen/Brenz. Cloudy brown colour, large beige head. Wheaty nose with hints of chocolate. Medium-bodied with wheaty malt flavours dominating. Shy hints of cocoa powder and chocolate, perhaps some blackcurrant. Very very lively carbonation.
