The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts fine fruity like banana, quite yeasty. Finish a bit dry, but still very drinkable. Not bad!

It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy and lasting head with notes of banana, yeast and wheat in the aroma. The sweet flavor has the same notes, and the finish is spicy - it’s nice and well balanced.

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 22, 2009
bottle from Getränke Göbel Giengen/Brenz. Cloudy pale yellow colour, large white head. Wheaty nose. Medium-bodied, shy malty background with lots of wheat flavours and a woody character. By far not as fruity (banana) as many other beers of the style, this one had more wheat flavours and a nice shy yeasty character. Extremely lively carbonation.
