UPDATED: DEC 24, 2011 24 oz can. When you see a big ass can named Natty Daddy how can you pass it up? It was irresistible. Pours clear deep gold with a large off-white head with pretty good retention. When it falls after a few minutes it leaves a skiff of foam; it even leaves a little lace. Aroma is corny, metal, chemicals, SweeTarts. Taste starts out a bit sweet, turns a little bitter then ends tart and dry. Alcohol is noticeable. Body is way thin, carbonation is low for the style. It’s really bad, but it’s not the trainwreck I was expecting. I have had worse.

24 oz can. You know how some experiences just inspire emotion, maybe even poetry? Let’s give this a shot:

Natty-named beer
With a thick carbonated head
If this is all I could ever drink
I’d wish that I was dead

Well shit, another one of these awesome drainpours. Good comedy at the Black Friday tasting. But pretty god awful. Puke in a can...or at least a puke waiting to happen.

Picked up a tall boy in obx. Didn’t expect much, but this was a very pleasant surprise! As far as malt liquors go, this REALLY wasn’t all that bad. Clear golden yellow pour with large white fizzy white head. Aroma was fairly grainy, and while not horribly offensive, it was the least appealing thing about this brew. Flavor was actually quite decent for what it was, and not nearly as grainy as the nose had lead me to believe. A little sweeter and less watery as compared side by side to regular natty light. I’d totally drink this again if I had to.

Tallahassee, Fl - Chevron gas station/min-mart (thanks for the tip drowland!) somewhat on the way home from work - 24 oz can. Pours a very faint golden with a pithy white head that leaves just a tad bit of lacing. Aroma leaves a lot to be desired - wet paper bag soaked in alcohol, some brief pepper notes, a hint of rotten cabbage. Flavor is typical fusel alcohol induced malt liquor - lots of corn, hint of honey sweetness, a bit of eraser-like rubber. Mouthfeel is harsh. Actually better than expected and I foresee the can going through some design changes to give it more street cred.

11/21/11. 24oz gem of a can found at a gas station. Clear medium-golden pour, about like light apple juice, under a small khaki head that’s gone instantly. Surprisingly light aroma of sweet cream, creamed corn, apples, and fusel alcohols. Much more disturbing flavor... sweet cream and creamed corn at first followed by bitter, fusel alcohols and cheap, pale malts. Basically this tastes like Natty Light with a shot of vodka poured into it. Horrible.

canned, golden color with large frothy head, I think I paid less than $2 for what equates to E85 gasoline, you do the math

Rating number 10, putting this bad boy on the board. Medium gold colored brew with a bright white head. The nose has some corn and sweet potato. There is also a little bit of earthy sweat. The taste is fairly sweet with corn flakes and sweet potatoes. There is also a little bit of apple core. Actually, this is relatively not offensive for a ML. There really isn’t much in the way of fusel alcohol. Not too shabby.

Natural Light’s own high gravity lager. Gave me nightmares, literally. I will never drink this stuff again. Rotten corn and other funk dominated the nose. Could definetley tell th ere was alcohol in this, it was right up front.

Not sure why Anheuser Busch felt compelled to make a malt liquor version of Natural Light. There is already an ice version of it. This stinks of rotting corn and B.O.. It taste a lot stronger than the 8% claimed on the label. Why the funk I bought three 24 ounce cans of this pig slop is beyond me. Maybe it was the $1.09 price tag. It’s giving me a headache from both the horrible flavor and the odor. AB should be embarrassed by this. At least Natty Ice is somewhat drinkable (especially out of glass bottles). This is just pure nasty ass inner city style malt liquor. Blech!
