2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Handsome blue can 24 ozs from a local 7/11 type. $1.59
This better be good $1.59 for this type of beer!
No idea of the colour as i have this from the can wrapped in the proper brown bag.
Aroma i can make out is sweet malts, perfumy thatís about it
Taste sweet semi sweet apple, slight tobacco, a little toasted bread a tiny bit of Halls mentholyptus. Not to shabby for style
Palate is fine for style and the carbonation works.Alcohol is hidden which is a tremendous plus for this style.
Overall not to bad for the style.

Found this at Walmart and it was only being sold by the case. Didnít want 24 of them since I had a feeling I would not like them but did want to satisfy my curiosity and add the can to my collection, so I got a case. Crap what am I going to do with the other 23? This is like carbonated sweet corn squeezinsí with a slight metallic taste in it. Nasty (or Natty) is the best way to describe this.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
25oz tall can into pils glass, o yes flavor dissecting is happening. Clear bright golden color with white head. Aroma is trying; notes of pale malt sweetness, corn and faint green apple. Taste adds some grainy cereal and nondescript off-fruity funk. Light body, high carbonation, crisp with sweet clean finish. Average maco-malt liquor, not horrific but nothing really notable either.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a golden color. About a one finger head, blink and youíll miss it. Despite the fact the head is gone, it still leaves lacing on the glass. Very clear. Itís pretty.
Smells nice. Itís mostly odorless, but I smell some caramel apple in there, which is a surprise, at least the caramel part. No hops, no malt smell.
Taste is smooth. Itís medium-full bodied. Not a lot of flavor. I can pick up some roasted malt. Itís sweet.
Mouthfeel is light. Itís well balanced. Itís sweet, but enough alcohol bitterness to balance out well. Itís light to drink. Itís super drinkable,
Overall, itís okay. Iím drinking the 6% version. I like it. I would choose this over Natural Ice, itís more drinkable.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
I was buying some decent brew and saw this can in discount bin near register and couldnít resist you know with a name like this which is never heard of. Pours golden with white head. Nose is corny and sour cardboard. Tastes of corn, grains, light banana, urine, and slight medicinal. Sweet shitty finish.

Thanks Keith. Lots of corn, alcohol, and light metallic note. Very clear, golden light yellow, large white bubbly head. Mild malty, corn, very smooth, mild buttery character.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Very pale yellow and 1 finger head. Aroma is almost nonexistent just a little bit of rice and corn. Oranges, very sweet, has a lemon, lime thing going on. interesting and not awful for a malt liquor.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
The only thing good about the beer was the price and that it got me buzzing. It was a Malt Liquor style after all. Pale in color fizzy head corn and rice aroma with sweet malts in the distance. Drinks like a 40 oz of beer and is probably worst than the Natural Ice original recipe if that is even possible.

This somehow splits the difference between Natty Ice and Natty Light. It tastes like a light version of Natty Ice, but heavier than Natty Light. There is no bitterness, only a cereal malt character.

Ok guys just hear me out on this one.
I donít know how to explain it but the Natty Daddy is one of the greatest beer achievements in history. When I was in college at Miami U these past few years I had one go-to brew; the Natty Daddy. Sold at my local Oxford, OH Speedway for $1.25 for a 25 Oz I would grab three of these bad boys and head home for a night of boozing and debauchery. After two years of solid drinking I fell in love.
The Aroma for other comparable high-ABV brews isnít even worth mentioning. The Natty Daddy doesnít smell overly metallic or sour like most other cheaper beers with an ABV around the same percentage. Smells cheap though, but is a bit sweet; obviously corn.
Appearance is normal, very yellow/clear like most other lagers and leaves a thin white head. Lacing is barely noticeable unless you drink like a champ (like me) and the constant/regular up and down motion adds bubbles to make lacing more noticeable.
Taste is great for someone who drinks cheap shit normally but probably pretty awful for a brew snob. Compared to anything else on the market thatís 8% itíll fair better than all competition; no joke. It tastes sour, slightly metallic, very corny but hey, itís cheap and isnít awful.
Overall the Natty Daddy is probably the best higher alcohol content tallboy on the market especially for the price. I havenít found any other lager that excels at doing the Natty Daddyís job; getting you trashed whilst not making you sick and saving you money. This will be a go-to brew for as long as I live.
