Dark amber pour with a medium tan head and lots of lacing. Aroma has lactic sourness. Flavor is that of granny smith apple juice or hard cider, with medium carbonation and some vinegar. Complex yet missing something.

Bottle provided by Matt, poured into a Portsmouth tulip. A hazy dark brown in color with minimal head. There is a moderate amount of sediment on the bottom of my tulip. Nose is incredibly sour, strong vinegar, oak, and some non-descript fruit. Puckeringly sour, a lot of vinegar and oak again. Mouthfeel is acidic, has medium carbonation, and a medium finish. A lot better than I expected. A lot more sour than expected, it was real nice.

Nose is vitamin c, vinegar, funk. It’s a murky amber brown with a bit of off white foam. Taste is super sour, vinegar, funky. Palate is nice - medium bodied and softly carbed. Fairly tasty sour. I’d drink it again.

Bottle thanks to GRG1313. Pours with a hazed brown body with a minimal tan head. Aromas are straight vinegar. Balsamic, red wine, red wine vinegar. Floral and all acetic acid. Flavors are floral, red wine, vinegar, very light funk. Acidic, acetic. Lively bubbles, dry with some lasting burn.

Pours a cloudy pinkish red color with a small off-white head. The nose is certainly sour, mostly in the form of vinegar. A little bit of dark fruit and straw, but overall, it’s a fairly simnple beer. Maybe a hint of oak. Tastes similar to how it smells. Perhaps a bit more lactic than the aroma lets on, but still fairly vinegary. There is some fruit character such as black cherry and raisin as well as a bit of lemon peel, straw, and grass. Medium body with medium carbonation.

Bomber thanks to Doug.
A: vinegar, acidic, toffee
T: toffee, berries, acidic
It was a little out of balance towards the tart/acidic side. Overall a good beer, I would drink it again.

750ml bottle. Pours a deep red/brown color with a medium tan head. The nose is rich sour wood and cherries. The flavor is rich and robust but drinkable; sweet vanilla and wood, some intense sourness, raw like a unblended lambic, some fruit especially sour cherries. Very nice. Akin to a old bruin and very drinkable.

22oz bottle #1/230 shared by jtclockwork, thanks-pours a tan head that slowly foams over after opening and copper color. Aroma is vinuous/acidic, medium malt, tart/barn. Taste is vinuous, medium malt-caramel, medium fruit-raspberry, wood. Finish is acidic/vinegar, which didn’t work for me, but front and mid-palate are quite enjoyable.

Bottle #1 of 230 shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours dark red. Tan head. Nose/taste of tart red fruits, oak, minor buttery notes and cherry finish. Taste is very acidic - lots of cherry vinegar in the finish. Medium body.

Bottle shared by SincereNC. Thanks for picking this up, Ian! Purty good effort from those dudes down in Greensboro, NC. A little high on the acetic side, but this seems to be the case in many American sours. Definitely a step in the right direction though. Keep working on it, yall.
