Sampled at the Raleigh Rare and Vintage tasting. Murky purplish pour with thin head. Aroma has a sour funky tartness to it, good, but not amazing. The flavor has even more sour funk, almost harshly sour and acidic. Very interesting sour.

Very acetic flavor with some vanilla and oak and malt character. Tart and sharp palate, medium body. Interesting experiment, much to be hammered out.

ucusty (2670) - raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Bottle from the brewery. Muddy brown pour with a thin tan head that quickly dissipates. No lace. Aroma is on the cheesy side with a hint of acetone. Definitely some aceto-bacter and heavy on the oak. Lightly tart just kinda of harsh on the finish. Is is hot? or is is nail polish

Bottle. Nose is nail polish remover, sherry, oxidation, slightly oaky tartness. Flavor is light port, brown sugar, chewy malts, wood. Disjointed and slightly boozy. Needs some work. Maybe some time will help but I doubt it.
