A full-bodied amber ale with a rich, smooth flavor, just the right balance of hops and notes of caramel and toffee.

Bottle. The pour was a medium brown with a yellow hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) frothy off white head that diminished to a thin layer of residue and lasted throughout creating some really good spotty sticky lacing. The aroma was of mild bread and grain malts, an herbal hop and a sweet earthy yeast with notes of toffee and caramel. The taste was lightly sweet and malty with just a mild hint of toffee at first and then got a little hop bite with a nice caramel note at the end. The flavor lasted a decent amount of time with a slight hoppiness left at the finish. Mouthfeel was just a bit above light in body with the texture being a bit watery and a tad dry with a lively carbonation. Overall a nice tasty Amber ale with a nice mild hoppiness to it. But it seems that everything I try from this brewer is quite tasty.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice copper color, with a medium, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is toffee, juniper, almonds, raisins, and some light cardamon. Sweet flavor throughout, with just a touch of bitterness. Medium body, thick, and a little crisp and harsh. This is a pretty good, malty amber ale. Not overly deep or complex, but solid, well-made, and crisp.

Poured from 12 oz bottle a crystal clear amber, forming a fine off white head. Aroma that of a restrained flowery hop character and a touch of caramel malt. Not much after that. Flavour waffles of floral hops, carmel malt, just a hint of sweetness. Blah....

Appearance: coppery brown, with light beige head, average lacing. Aroma: caramel, toffee, light toast. Taste: malty and toasty, with caramel, light brown sugar, slight woody character. Finish: clean and crisp, lingering toasty notes. Notes: A malty amber, not much in the way of hops, easy drinking. NoVA Brewfest 2014.

Bottle pour a nice amber brown with little to no head. Aroma of sweet caramel and toffee. Taste of same sweet toffee with a hint of hops that makes for a clean finish. Med body with a lively carbonation. Overall sweet amber that is pretty easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Asheville, NC - Bruisin’ Ales - 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, light off white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is pretty much neutral, trace of mineral water. Flavor has some very faint nutty accents, a wee wisp of caramel, some hard candy sweetness. Mouthfeel is kind of dull. Not feeling it on this one.
