A full-bodied amber ale with a rich, smooth flavor, just the right balance of hops and notes of caramel and toffee.

Bottle. The pour was a medium brown with a yellow hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) frothy off white head that diminished to a thin layer of residue and lasted throughout creating some really good spotty sticky lacing. The aroma was of mild bread and grain malts, an herbal hop and a sweet earthy yeast with notes of toffee and caramel. The taste was lightly sweet and malty with just a mild hint of toffee at first and then got a little hop bite with a nice caramel note at the end. The flavor lasted a decent amount of time with a slight hoppiness left at the finish. Mouthfeel was just a bit above light in body with the texture being a bit watery and a tad dry with a lively carbonation. Overall a nice tasty Amber ale with a nice mild hoppiness to it. But it seems that everything I try from this brewer is quite tasty.

Bottle... Pours clear and dirty-orange with a small, white head. Toffee and bready notes, along with a port/golden raisin-like ester are the aromatic highlights. Light-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor is medium-roast malty and very well-balanced. Crisp, clean, refreshing finish. Well done. Good amber ale. Bottle courtesy of Tinkerbell!

Outstanding Amber / American pale ale. I see it’s listed as an amber, but it to me, it definitely drank like an APA. I enjoyed two pints of this beaut on draft at Sugar Creek in Nags Head. The beer poured a bright and clean copper color with an ample off-white head. The head laced nicely around the inside of the glass. The nose was very inviting with plentiful notes of fresh, spicy and bold hops. The flavors followed suit, with a ton of full and bold happiness. There was also plenty of bready and biscuit flavored malts. The finish was smooth and slightly creamy with more fruity and spicy hops. Really nice ale!

Aromas are slightly fruity, stale bread, corn, crackers. Clear copper with a somewhat lasting off-white head. Mostly dry, a little fruity, corny. Light bodied.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear amber with a thin white head. Caramel and malt on the nose, a bit of sweetness. Medium bodied, grainy with some malt and a touch of crackers and bitterness. Slow earthy bitterness into the finish.

I feel bad about the low score, but it is what it is. Poured from a bottle, small head, slightly cloudy amber color. Aroma isn’t bad, sweet, but the taste isn’t great, skunky, sour, and a filmy finish.

Drank at Natty Greene’s on tap in a pint glasses. Pours a nice dark amber color with decent head and little carbonation. Has a slight smell of bourbon. Tastes like an average amber with a slight taste of bourbon, a well done amber!! Possibly my highest rated amber brew!

Really good brew by the greensboro crew. Amber ale that is medium color and has a full bodied taste. Smooth taste
