Pours a bright ruby brown with plenty of penny-colored illuminated highlights. A frothy and full tan head stood proud. Wet, loose, sporadic lacing remains. Aromas tickle the nares with spicy German noble hops. Not just a hop plug or pellet, but rather the soft perfumey flower itself. A touch of cocoa powder tingles the senses. Flavors are smooth and clean with a dry crisp taste. Flowery hops linger on the palate after a firm toffee malt character. Soft, yet sturdy enough. Drinkable as can be. The pint is stunningly easy to drain. A winner.
