Hazed ornage our with a creamy white head and lace. More maltiness on the nose than hops. Rich sweet malt with hints of apple with a nice medium bitter finish. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Not as much hops as I expected.

Originally reviewed: 8/5/09. A new beer being bottled by our local Natty Greene’s. I am pretty excited about this. I was wondering when they were going to start bottling an IPA. It’s English, but I’m still satisfied. Pours a very dark rusty brownish orange with a good bit of off-white froth resting on top. Retention is excellent as there is still a nice cap more than halfway through this drink. Plenty of sticky lacing and even some nice sip rings. Pretty. Smells pretty basic. Faint floral hops and toasted sugar bread. The mouth is well-carbonated to make this a nice crisp brew. Flavor is pretty balanced with a slight leaning towards malty. Plenty of sweet brown sugar, hefty breads, and finishing with a sharp hop bite that I like. This is a very good EIPA. Many are going to review this according to their skewed American IPA-tastes unfortunately, but this beer holds its own very well. Recommend.

Bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours a hazy orange color with floating particles. Medium sized creamy slightly-off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of floral and citrus hops. The taste is citrus hops, candied citrus, grainy caramel malts. Medium bodied. Decent.

Not a good IPA. Thin white head with little lacing. No distinct hop aroma. Taste is bitter, but not a good bitter. This was a disappointment.

Bottle. Fair IPA - grass, hops, grapefruit, slight bitterness. Taste is somewhat hoppy and kind of sweet. Not memorable... Much better IPAs are easier to get a hold of.

Cask and infused with basil and coffee: A hazed amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, fruity esters and floral hops, watermelon, refreshing. In mouth, a biscuitty malt with fruity pineaplle, caramel, sweet and simple. On tap at Twin City Brewfest, August 13 2011.

Thanks to shag for donating this - Coppery orange, big white head. Smells oaky, woodsy and bready. Seems a bit...understated, overall. More like an ESB, I think. Not bad, just not very assertive.

Pours a cloudy copper with very little head. Some small lacing. Malty begining with some hop bitterness towards the end. Not much carbonation. Feels a little watery.

Ok beer. Medium copper color. Clarity is blurry but not particulate floating around. Bitter at first and then finished plainly.

This beer is a hazy orange color with a medium thin off-white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and bready malt. Medium body with flavors of mild hops, citrus and sweet malt. The finish is short and hoppy with a bit of citrus in the background. Slightly above average overall.
