Medium bodied with a strong tropical fruit aroma. Mango notes throughout. Lightly sweet with some funky sourness. Not unlike a fruit yogurt. Pours hazy straw with a big fluffy rocky white head.

JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 2, 2013
On tap at The Thirsty Monk, Asheville. Pretty average saison in most ways. Decently inviting pour, cloudy gold and well carbonated. Nose was excessively bready, with hops and spice but not enough to overcome a certain homebrewishness. Mildly spicy on the palate, lively mouthfeel. Bready flavors again at the fore, modest spice and even fruitiness here and there, but not much to rave about.
