12oz bottle, thanks to Jay. Piney, citrus. Good assertive hop aroma. Decidedly east coast in flavor, somehow. Some grapefruit. Good malt backbone, toast, light caramel, pretzel. Hazy amber / orange color, lots of sediment floating inside. Foamy off-white head, with great retention and good lace. Lighter carbonation, very dry texture. Soft overall. Earthy hops. Orange, stronger bitter taste, buzzes on the tongue. Aggressive, but I think I like that. Very interesting, enjoyable IPA to sip, big flavor for the ABV.

Bottle: The aroma consists of light-moderate citrus, caramel, light lemon peel, and floral notes. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a one finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with citrus, fruit, and caramel, The finish has mild citrus hops, grass, and a touch of floral notes. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat mouthfeel. Overall, too much caramel and not enough hops for my IPA preferences.

12oz bottle, blue label (F). Pale yellow color, slight haze. Aroma of citrus hops. Flavor is a very sharp bitterness. Heavy fizz, big bubbles, over-carbonated; could be an old bottle. (3924)

Bottle at Tylers bottle shop in Raleigh. Dark orange with small white head. Nose of caramel, some citrus and pine. Flavor is similar. Pretty easy drinking and not terrible, maybe one of the better pales in NC but I’d need to have a bigger sample.
