2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 chriso (7065) - London, - FEB 21, 2011
On tap at Natty Greenes, Greensboro NC on 13 July 2006. Of course, pretty much all brewpubs feel the need to make a light, gold, innocuous, easy-drinking beer but this one seemed to have a bit more to it than most. Perhaps because they have gone for a slightly English style rather than a lager-like concoction. Slightly darker gold than the norm. The hops are little earthy with a subtle citrus accent. The malt is biscuity and a touch fuller than usual. Perhaps not as clean as some but perfectly serviceable.

Originally reviewed: 6/28/08. Poured this into a conical pint. Poured a clear golden color with a huge foamy white head, most of which disappeared throughout the first few minutes. Noticed little carbonation.
Smelled not that impressive. Some malt and hops, cereal and touch of butterscotch.
Tasted very smooth and creamy. Not a ton of flavor. Some malt, corn, butter. A little sour. No bite to this beer. Very easy to consume. Good session beer.
All in all, not the best beer in the world, but not that bad either.

12 ounce bottle from Sam’s Quik Shop. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy and lightly toasted malts with a faint grass finish. The taste is grassy, floral hops, tea, grain, sweet malts with a bit of raisin. Medium bodied. Decent.

Bottle. Fairly translucent golden with a sudsy spitty white head. Nose is hay, light toast, grass, light metal and plastic. Flavor is fairly bland, watery and meh. Drinks a bit heavier than it is.

Bottle. Clear yellow with a white head of foam. The flavor starts with some corn and hay then ends with a short hop bite. Not a complex beer, but a solid, easy drinking session brew.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cybercat (1913) - Georgia, USA - JAN 18, 2012
Has a nice, crisp, malty aroma with a good fruity undertone and a hint of yeast. It pours a clear solar yellow with a thick and somewhat persistent fluffy white head. Crisp flavor is malty with a subtle fruity undertone and just a hint of herbs/grass. Texture has slightly above average body and a good amount of fizz. Definitely satisfying and enjoyable.

Draft. Pours clear gold with a white head. Clean malty aroma with some grainy notes. The flavor is grainy and relatively clean, with some very light sweetness, and not much else. Decent, and certainly drinkable.

Bottle. Yellow colored pour. Smell is like straw and wheat, with a little bit of hops. Taste is crisp and refreshing, easy to drink and smooth. Kind of a nice little hop kick at the end. The best of the misc 12 pack I had.
