Oddly for the style, this pours a brownish color. Bit of a thin head. Nose brings some pear and light spicing. The taste has a bit of spice, pear, light fruits, mild hops, and a bit of grain. Feel is light with ample carbonation. Somewhat strange for the style, though not a bad beer.

Another pleasant surprise from NG sampled at Pre-Sex. Halfway between a very dry saison and an Orval knockoff, with a hazy straw gold pour, a lively carbonation, and a pleasant if not overly complex nose: yeast, dry hops, enough spice to give it a quirk factor. A little bit too bready in the center for me; while it does tend to bring some of the elements together, it doesn’t end up being quite pale ale-ish of Belgian funky enough for me. Enjoyable, though.

Pours a clear light hay- straw gold with a thin white head. Aroma is very doughy bready fresh pils malt, hay, grassy, light herbal hops. Flavor is light spicy belg yeast, phenolic, mostly doughy wheat bread, big biscuit malts, yet clean grassy and citrus hints- lemon. Clean and crisp finish nice.
