The color was a dark brown with lacing. The ale did not have much taste (possible potatoes) and was watery and thin. The finish was smooth but a disappointing beer.

Pours very dark with minimal head. There are some hints of nuttiness to it, which was a little surprising. Good level of roasting in the nose on this beer. An interesting find...
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 strongpieman (1180) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Bottle from sampler. A rich brown that has some porter like qualities with the chocolate and a little heavier body (which I like). Surprised by how low the alcohol content is for such a flavorful beer. Very good.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 tkrjukoff (3393) - SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2012
Tap at Natty Greene’s. Pours brown mahogany with a nice creamylight tanned head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, coffee, nutty and some chocolate. Flavor is similar to the aroma, too sweet for me though, lots of coffee and chocolate. Some vanilla as well. Finishes sweet malty and bitter.
