Medium bodied deep golden ale with distinctive bitter character and hoppy, piney-citrus finish...a true American style.

This is a great southern ale poured into a pint glass to a hazy and golden bliss big white foamy head disappears to leave nice lacing I’m sure it’ll still be there by the end of the glass ...taste of malts comes through at first then the hops kick in and give it a great citrus finish very clean and crisp all in all a damn fine pale ale....cheers

Crisp, malty aroma has a note of sour apple. It pours a nice bubbly almost clear amber with a very thick and fluffy white head. The sample I got fizzed like crazy, so open with care! Flavor is quite satisfying, malty with a slightly sour fruity note and an earthy, hop-bitter undertone. Smooth texture has above-average body and a firm, persistent fizz. A truly satisfying and enjoyable ale.

Draft. Pours light hazy with a white head. Light citric hoppy aroma, with some flowery and sweet notes. The flavor has flowery and citric hops, with light sweet malty notes. Pretty good.

Pours a mostly clear golden/amber color with a medium creamy tan head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has citrusy hops...orange...leafy and floral...tealike. Flavor is more spicy hops than citrus...still tea notes...malty sweetness...a bit muddled. Mouthfeel is silky and lively and the finish is tealike and earthy/hoppy.

Bottle. The pour was a slightly hazy golden amber with a large (2-3 finger) white rocky head that had great retention and lasting throughout producing thick sheets of lacing. The aroma was to say the least nice and hoppy of a pine hop, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with nice strong notes of citrus and caramel. The taste was bold and bitter with a hint of caramel at first then became extremely hoppy with a real nice dose of citrus at the end. The flavor lasted a really long time allowing for full enjoyment of this beyond hoppy brew. Mouthfeel was just a bit beyond light in body and dry in texture with a nice prickly carbonation. Overall this Pale Ale is by far one of the better ones out there. If I did not know any better, I would have taken it for an IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2012 This was purchased near Duck, NC at a Harris Tetter. The APA poured with a HUGE head. The white frothy head filled the glass and laced down the glass. The ale poured an attractive hazy golden color. There is a mild citrus aroma on the nose. This pale ale fails to distinguish itself. It is too mild and lacks some bitterness. Very lively carbonation creating the head. Had this in Jacksonville with my son’s family. The ale poured a clear amber color with nice head. This was on tap. Raised scores slightly.

Hazy light amber coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Light hoppy and fruity hinted aroma with a short malty hint. Medium palate; Finish is fruity, light citrus hinted with a bitter twist. Smouth light bitter and enjoyable.
