FROTHINGSLOSH (4943) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2014
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2014 Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy very pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly but left excellent lacing. The aroma was faintly musty, dusty, chalky and had a bit of lemon. The flavor was tart and bitter chalk, must, lemon, coriander and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Asheville, NC - Bruisin’ Ales - 12 oz bottle. Pours a murky light golden, soft, snow white head that leaves a nice film of lacing. Aroma is slightly soapy and industrial. Flavor has a nice lemon zest to it with some light bubble gum accents, a wisp of coriander. Mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. Solidly decent.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, straw color, with a medium, off-white, frothy head that fizzles to nothing quickly. The aroma is distinctly floral, with notes of honey, orange peels, applesauce, and cloves. Fairly mellow, citrusy sweetness, with some light, earthy bitterness. Light body, very effervescent, a little chewy, and acidic. It is lacking some of the yeasty characteristics of a good witbier, but this is still a nice, aromatic, and reasonably complex beer.

Tap at A Taste of Carolina, CLT. Poured a hazy orange-yellow color with a white head. Some notes of citrus, yeast notes. Orange, wheat, grain, coriander notes. Some zest. A bit boring, but this wit is refreshing.

Bottled It poured straw with a medium white head. Taste is wheat and fruit. Smooth and light but a bit overly carbonated. Pleasant beer for warmer weather.

Blind tasting @ home. Slightly hazy straw yellow appearance with a nice foamy white head. Lemongrass, unmalted wheat, lemon / orange citrus peel in the nose. A bit of passion fruit and guava. Pretty high carbonation. Grain in the flavor is a bit stale. Flavor also has some cotton candy and bubblegum along with lemon and tropical fruits. Moderate sweetness. Low bitterness. Kind of acidic finish. Decent but the carbonation is a bit too heavy and the flavor is a bit dull.
