3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium yellow with a huge (3-4 finger) white fluffy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thick cap of foam and had very good sticky lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt and a sweaty soapy yeast with notes of citrus (lemon and orange) and a bit of coriander.
The taste was very mildly sweet, a bit acidic and had a light grain taste with a nice note of citrus at first and finished with a very mild bitter acidic taste with notes of wheat/yeast and coriander at the end. The flavor lasted an average time with a spicy wheat taste fading slowly.
Mouthfeel was light in body and a little watery in texture with a nice prickly carbonation.
Overall a very good Witbier that had all the basic elements and a bit of spice making it a very drinkable and enjoyable brew...

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Drank at Natty Greene’s poured from a tap into a pint glass. Pours a nice yellow, hazy color. Smells like a witbier, tastes like a witbier but not overpowering in anyone category as most American wits try to be.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2015
Location: Draft at CLT., 11/16/14
Aroma: The nose is kind of dull, with some wheat, lemon, and a little spice.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small white head and some streaky lacing.
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, a little sweet, wheat, fruit, and some spice.
Palate: The body is light and a little watery, thin and overly carbonated.
I was not a big fan of this beer. It’s a fairly poor example of the style. It’s more dull than it is flawed. The drinkability is on the poor side.
