Bottled on 10/9/10. Surprisingly fizzy. Amber coloured with an off-white creamy head. Slight citrus in the nose. Fizzy mouthfeel with a biscuity taste.

Bottled. A golden coloured beer with a short lived whitish head. The aroma is bizarrely sweet and slightly sickly. There are hints of grass also. It’s better in the mouth with better sweetness and a hint of toffee. Fruit and stingy hops. Presentable.

DruncanVeasey (6116) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2010
Pale bronze with a white sheet of head. Copper penny aroma warming into vague toffee, nuts and musty hop oil as the head collapses; dab of strawberry and apricot, hay and tea. Not as complex beyond. Slick and almondy with some astringent bitterness in the finish slanting towards creamy malt, toffee popcorn and cake in the aftertaste. Some decent raisiny notes and tacky hop there, badly treated. Bog standard caramelly pasteurised bitter with a sprinkle of dull English hops. Totally resistable.

Bottle. Amber with an off-White head. Aromas are biscuit malts with earthy autumn fruit and burnt brown sugar. Flavours are sweet toffee with chewy orange sweets and tea. Dry with light grapefruit bitterness and zest on the finish. Decent.

50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Amber with a thin white head; fresh English hop aroma; biscuity malt flavours; pleasantly bitter finish with some citrus. Pleasant, drinkable, but rather forgetable.

Amber with a white head. Sweaty malt aroma developing: quite pleasant. Very ordinary malt taste, slightly metallic. Some bitterness. This is quite drinkable but nothing special.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Malty aroma of organes and caramel, with a touch of earthiness. Flavour of sweet oranges, barley sugar and a lightly bitter finish. Ok.

Bottled, 500ml from Sainsburys, Banbury. Amber with white head. Sharpish, dry bitter with a tangy, slightly citric note, but also just a touch tinny. Drinkable and reasonably tasty, but a hint of overboiling.
