MadMan (497), Tempe, Arizona, USA Aug 17, 2007 Can. Thanks to some alcoholic buddies I get to sample all the cheapies. Had this one a couple months back but never thought to rate it. I have been lazy with rating the filler beers but no longer. Drank straight from the can so I have no idea what it looks like. As for aroma its got light metal, light cereal. In the taste department it is surprisingly not horrible. It is light bodied and doesn’t have any standout terrible flavors, just kind of bland and lightly sweet. I usually bring my own beer, but got stuck this time. venom04 (15), West Virginia, USA Aug 16, 2007 pretty plain and boring beer.this is not a ’beer drinkers’ beer, thi s is an alcoholic’s beer. Pwn3d (1040), Manhattan, New York, USA Aug 15, 2007 24oz can, 12oz can. Gets you hammered really quicky, the flavor is not abrasive either. I supply this at parties because its cheap and it gets the girls horny. dkherigon (25), Great Falls, Montana, USA Aug 14, 2007 What to get Drunk? Drink this! Lots of alcohol, not much else. I do like the Aroma, but it is down hill from there. Gives me a head-ache quickly, but all Ice beers do. Sorry my $0.99 a 24 ounce can friends, but I’ll pass. cheapdark (2011), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2007 Updated: Aug 26, 2007On sale at the Beer for Less in Moon Township for $10 per 24-12oz bottle case. Usual case is $11.50. The aroma is off fruit spoil and alcoholic. Pale yellow american color and appearance, as expected. A combined malt liquor and pilsner bite greets the tongue. It is however, relatively mild and well controlled to an extent at first. Much more offensive than natural light in flavor. What’s the deal with these cheap ’ice’ beers, you just want to get drunk? Could these be simply cheap malt liquors in disguise? Nasty light I can live with but this is almost like an offensive micro-brew. Rather coarse and high in alky impressions. There is this processed industrial bite that you cannot overlook while you are consuming. Mild carbonation that at least takes your mind off the coarseness of this brew. Due to the price, this beer’s finish is barely tolerable, and this is coming from a taster who likes pale lagers. The cost of this is 42 cents per bottle, but as the cheap expert, I know there are so many other inexpensive pale lagers that are even less in cost and much more enjoyable. Will not buy again if the opportunity presents itself. To sum it up, this stuff is unrefined and rude. prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Aug 6, 2007 This beer is terrible. At least there 5.9% ABV to help forget the rancid sewer taste, with the ever-welcome flavor of aluminum throughout. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 4, 2007 24oz Can. Aroma was aluminum and field crops. Yellow body with white head. Flavor was actually smoother than most of these Corner Store king can for purchase out on the market. Mild biterness and standard corn, grain flavors. Aluminum aftrtaste on palate. degrassi (30), cypress, California, USA Aug 3, 2007 Times were tough tonight, so I scrounged for change and came up with $1.22 . After tax & crv the tall can came out to $1.35, but the liquor store clerk felt bad and gave it to me anyway... I wish he had not. This is the type of pisswater that you drink once at a party when you’re 16 and it makes you stay away from beer until you’re old enough to buy ’em. Never again.
