SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Aug 25, 2006 In the tall boy can. Had this at The Dave’s 60th birthday party. It was ice-cold. It was the only beer at the party other than regular Natural Light. The commercial description is partially correct: This is a subpremium beer. Very sub-premium. While it does not seem to be very high in alcohol compared to the strange things that I’ve been tasting lately, it seems a bit too out of balance with the other 2 components of this beer (rice and water). I suspect that this beer goes best with cigarettes, but unfortunately, I do not smoke. The extra-tall 16 oz can would hold many more cigarette butts, I suppose. adamnfineman (53), Springfield, Oregon, USA Aug 24, 2006 This is a beer for when you want to play drinking games and get wasted, and it works. ROGUE (621), Newark, Delaware, USA Aug 23, 2006 This is perfect for when you have $25 and need a keg for a beer pong tournament. BrewskiNigga (12), Brewski, Maryland, USA Aug 21, 2006 Has to be the worst beer ever. I mean that. Taste like a rude person ashed their ciggarette in your "Beer". Smooth taste? Maybe mellow, if that ciggarette was mellow. They should only make this in 40z. Natural Light and Natural Ice. hmmmm Where is the Natural? MIBRomeo (1962), Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2006 pours clear w/ light yellows a tiny white head... very open grain and light sweetness... very very very non existant taste..
went down real well last night playing ass hole after a few dozen good beers. It’s cheap and gets you drunk. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 19, 2006 Wow... its not like this beer is great or anything, but I’m surprised its only a 1.05.
Light gold... thin fizzy white head. Sweet dusty grain. Faint soapy hops. Light aroma overall. Light sweet grain flavor. Light in flavor, low in offense. 505 (271), Echo Park, California, USA Aug 13, 2006 I decided to defy all expectations and make this my 100th beer, sandwiched between 2 alesmiths. This pours very pale, aroma is green apples/grain. Unbearably thin, but I would take this over many light beers that are rated slightly higher. Also, it’s only 94 cents for a 24 oz. My Alesmith Grand Cru and Speedway were both 9+ dollars for only a bit more, what’s with that? OhioGuzzler (40), Maineville, Ohio, USA Aug 4, 2006 Unfortuantely I can only rate this at .5 This is what beer tastes like when it dies and goes to hell....
