COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Buschís exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

Characterized by its robust body, delicate sweetness and smooth, rich taste.

The introduction of Natural Ice provided the company with two brands in the value priced ice beer category (Busch Ice was also introduced in 1995).

Bought a 6-pack of these in the States for dirt cheap (and a 12-pack of Bud Ice - so comparing both crap swills, from the same maker). This one pours a light golden colour with a fizzy white head that leaves a creamy lace. Aromas of grains and light chemical hops. Terrible taste of metal with the shitty hops. The weird thing is that corn comes and save the day, in the aftertaste. By saving, I donít mean much. Not sure where the "Natural" comes in. Just like most US macro... junk for headaches.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2014 Can: More pale than Kristen Stewart with less head than Ichabod. Noses were a part of evolution so that when humans smelled something like this, they would be sure not to consume it. Grains, steel, booze (itís only 5.9% ABV... wut). Hops are mildew-ish and musty. But maybe this beer is just old. Who knows. Take a sip of this shit and try not to flair your nostrils, scrunch your eyebrows, or grimace. Itís very hard. Unless youíre already about 8 or 9 deep, in which case theyíll be flowing like a river at that point. Muted sweet malts, faint graininess, old musky hops, and a stale, metallic astringency in the finish. Crisp and dry, thinner than my bank account. Avoid at all costs.

Rating from 6/10/13. 16 oz tallboy bought from the discount cooler at a local convenience store. Pours clear deep gold with a surprisingly decent white head with nice retention. Aroma is cotton candy sweet. Taste is sweet, bland, a little grainy in the finish. Texture is watery, fairly soft carbonation for style. Boring, sweet macro whose only saving grace is the relatively impressive appearance. Finished it off by pouring spicy V8 and some celery salt into it. It was a definite improvement.

Cantacular.
Appearance: Iím pretty shocked at how good this beer looks. The body is crystal clear and the head is tall and dense with, surprisingly, good retention. If nothing else, this is a good looking lager.
Aroma: Sweet corn with a touch of floral and toasted dryness. Almost completely dominated by corn though.
Taste: Oh boy, completely dominated by sweet adjunct lager flavor. I guess I was thrown off by the not completely crap aroma. Thereís some spice on the finish, but boy this is going to be hard to drink.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is a great looking lager and the aroma isnít awful. In-fact Iím surprised that there are some hops here. Thatís where the good in this beer ends.

The best thing I can say about this beer is that itís made by the people who bought Goose Island.

I will give this a little higher than Natty Lite mainly b/c of the alcohol content.

The smell is water, floral, not much, done grain, skunk. The look is clear, white head, and golden in color. The taste is corn, grains, floral, weak, and eh.

Allegedly the third worst beer available, and I am unlikely to rate the other two. I have to rate this due to its inspiring a college-drunk nickname for a local hero/choker. Certainly anyone who looks will find more offensive stuff than this...itís just so... insubstantial. Aroma could be old cereal grains and frozen cream of corn, although maybe it isnít. Flavor might be frozen sugar cubes and metallic stale malts. Really no different than other pissy ice beers, and too light to be a true malt liquor. Just a strong cheapo lager here. A very easy too drink one at that.
