COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

Characterized by its robust body, delicate sweetness and smooth, rich taste.

The introduction of Natural Ice provided the company with two brands in the value priced ice beer category (Busch Ice was also introduced in 1995).

I have been watching some NASCAR recently so I am now qualified to drink this beer. More of the same old same old. Not much flavor or aroma.

Shotgunned a 16oz. can at Backus’s Backyard Bash. Thanks to SoLan’s Mom for providing the beer. Since the entire thing went right from the can to my belly, I didn’t get a good look at it. I suspect the color was a fine straw color with sufficient carbonation. It was ice-cold, and went down in about 2.7 seconds, so I didn’t get to taste it much, either. Overall, I’ll give it a thumbs-up for a shotgunning or chugging beer. It was a good break in between the Cantillon St. Lamvinus and the Isabella Proximus and held it’s own among those other sub-par beers.

Not very good. Very strong though for a light beer. Head is small, not much taste.

Pours a clear, pale yelow with a small, tight foamy head. Musty aroma, faintly metallic with some malt in there somewhere. Flavor is waterey malt with a metallic, medicinal taste. Not a very good beer in the least.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2003 How do I give a beer a negative rating? Because Natty Ice deserves it. I could pee in a bottle and then add rubbing alcohol and it would be better than this.

Wow, I forgot how bad this beer really tastes. Pours a golden, clear color with modest carbonation and a small white head. Aroma has a very strong grainy note, sweet corny, no hops and some alcohol. Flavor is extremely grainy with a ton of corn coming through and a pretty mild alcohol flavor. Body is very light and fizzy, quite bland overall. Overall not a good beer. Too much corny sweetness and very cheap tasting. Not even a good brew to get blasted on.

I mean seriously there are better ways and more tasteful and flavorful way to get drunk. I would drink liquor if this was the only beer I had access to. This is a headache in a can.
