COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

Characterized by its robust body, delicate sweetness and smooth, rich taste.

The introduction of Natural Ice provided the company with two brands in the value priced ice beer category (Busch Ice was also introduced in 1995).

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2006 Sampling this again from the can. The aroma is sweatsocks and tomatoes. The taste has some slight potatoes with white bread. There is not much else going on here. Nothing offensive, it’s just bland.

Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates clean. Aroma of golden grain malt, corn, and no detected hops. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, corn and some alcohol presence. Finish is very watery, slightly metallic with some corn aftertaste.

Can pours clear pale gold with frothy short lived white head. Interesting light aroma pushing up floral and earthy hops where the earthiness reaches toward back alley slimy moldy dumpster. There’s also a sugariness in the background. The taste is prickly with carbonation helping toss up notes of sugary sweetness, lagery sweetness, some floral notes, a touch of corn and more slick chemical like sweetness.

Can, many thanks to Oakes. Pours the eerie neon glow typical of chemo-beer. Fast disappearing white head. Nothing "natural" about the appearance. Potently sweet aroma, although I have smelled some worse things. Creamed corn. Chemicals. Soft but fizzy mouthfeel. Bud-like metallic aftertaste. Does not taste as sweet as it smells. This might be one of the reasons some people claim "I don’t like beer."

As expected, a golden beer with big but quickly dying white sudsy head. Smooth with a hint of the higher alcohol than mainliners ... kinda like a mix between Bud and Old English 800. Highly recommended for the college crowd just looking for the buzz without the really heinous syrupiness of the malt liquors.

No, really. I don’t think I’ll have another. Thanks anyways. Sampled from a can (as it should be).
