COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Ice is brewed with a blend of premium American-grown and imported hops and a combination of malt and corn that lends Natural Ice its delicate sweetness. It then undergoes Anheuser-Busch’s exclusive ice-brewing process, which takes the beer to a temperature below freezing and leads to the formation of ice crystals which create its signature rich and smooth taste.

Characterized by its robust body, delicate sweetness and smooth, rich taste.

The introduction of Natural Ice provided the company with two brands in the value priced ice beer category (Busch Ice was also introduced in 1995).

UPDATED: APR 11, 2008 24 ounce can. Pours a light yellow with a large active white head that fades away. Aroma is of alcohol, corn and grain. Taste is similiar, but has a slightly bitter finish. Has a rather watery and foamy mouthfeel. Not as bad as what I remembered it to be, but not that good either. Overall, this beer is passable considering it is very inexpensive and alcoholic.

Shotgunned a 16oz. can at Backus’s Backyard Bash. Thanks to SoLan’s Mom for providing the beer. Since the entire thing went right from the can to my belly, I didn’t get a good look at it. I suspect the color was a fine straw color with sufficient carbonation. It was ice-cold, and went down in about 2.7 seconds, so I didn’t get to taste it much, either. Overall, I’ll give it a thumbs-up for a shotgunning or chugging beer. It was a good break in between the Cantillon St. Lamvinus and the Isabella Proximus and held it’s own among those other sub-par beers.

a small step up from the beast which doesnt say much. Its the worst beer i’ll drink, but it escapes the undrinkable list just barely

Piss yellow pour demonstrating an absence of a head. The aroma is puke-like corn syrup with some rice and metallic butt notes. The flavor is much the same- corn oriented adjunct dominates with rice sugars and metal notes taking a back seat. Palate is a bit thicker than water- but barely. A deplorable example of any malt beverage, and should be avoided like the plague unless you intend to consume a beverage only to become inebriated.

Can. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is lightly sweet malt with a note of corn. Watery body. Flavor is cereal grain. Better than Natty Light, but just barely.

24 oz. can. Pours a piss yellow with no head. Aroma is straw and a bit of yeasty dough/sweat. Flavor is sweet all the way and finishes a bit alcoholic. Had this the same night as the bud cheladas, possibly skewing my perspective...

12oz can. Poured a yellow color with a white head that disappeared quickly. Smells of malts and alcohol. I’ve smelled worse, but those beers had a lot more ABV. NOt quite as good as Keystone Ice, but pretty similar. Take big gulps to get this one down quickly and get druunk. Not as bad as a lot of the other ratings I feel. Real cheap and not horrible.

Poured clear yellow, simple, thin, grainy, little corn, little malt, little vegital.
