COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Light is brewed with a blend of premium American and imported hops, and a combination of malt and corn. Its longer brewing process produces a lighter body, fewer calories and an easy-drinking character.

Wonderfully blended, balanced and brewed for a consistently clean flavor, light body and satisfying refreshment.

Natural Light was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer.

12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours golden with a small head. Aroma of corn, grains and sweetness. Taste of corn. This light bodied brew is down right natty.

Natty Lite, the thirsty mans beer. Probably not the best complement to a fine sausage and cheese tasting festival, but you can but them down throughout a softball game and never miss a beat.

This is a damn good beer for the price. Nothing wrong with a cold Natty after a tough game. It basically tastes identical to all the lights.

Between 1995 - 2008, prior to finding religion (craft beer), I probably drank enough of this stuff to fill a 747 and that is only a slight exaggeration. $13.29 for a 30 pack. Now I’d much rather spend that on a good 4 pack. Oh the beer... yeah it tastes like good lager mixed with 85% water. Good enough to slam after mowing the lawn I guess,

330ml can (shared by FatPhil and VastActive, thanks). Pale yellow, piss like color. Apple jam, corny, sweet aroma. Mineral water in taste. So watery.

Can. Light pour. Corn syrup, soda and grass. Watery. And a bit acidic. Nothing going and a bit offensive

330ml can - gift from VastActiv - thanks!
Pours almost invisibly, there’s a frothy foam appearing in the glass, but I don’t see the stream of liquid between the can and the glass. Smells of soda water, initially. Slightly sweet corniness. Taste is watery. Feels fizzy. Tastes of the fizz, I get carbonic acid. However, there’s also an almost quite nice sweet maltiness. Initially, I’d have given that 4 for taste, and 2 for palate, as the milky maltiness stays nicely. But the water gets more offensive over time, as does a slickness that’s totally out of place compared to the initial totally thin fizziness. An insult to beer.

While I’m in a bashing mood, lets record a rating for ol’ Natty Light. I hold something of a grudge against this brand because this ruined my image of beer up until I was able to branch out and realize that there was a whole world of wonderful beer out there nothing like this one. Relatively bland and overcarbonated, when I was in my age of beer jahiliyyah I thought all beer was that way. When I’ve bothered to stop and consider the taste, its actually not terrible, features some sweet corn and maybe the slightest touch of pale malt flavor. The one thing I do respect about this beer is that doesn’t pretend to be something its not, all it claims to be is a cheap, more-or-less natural, and drinkable adjunct beer meant for consuming in mass quantities. I do remember from the few times I’ve bothered drinking this is that by the third or fourth round it wasn’t so bad, haha.

Bottle. Tastes like sweet corn and musky malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like day old beer and wet beer pong floors.
