COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Light is brewed with a blend of premium American and imported hops, and a combination of malt and corn. Its longer brewing process produces a lighter body, fewer calories and an easy-drinking character.

Wonderfully blended, balanced and brewed for a consistently clean flavor, light body and satisfying refreshment.

Natural Light was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer.

To me just about the most generic, lightest beer around to me. Low cal beer, pretty much water with a pinch of malt. Look elsewhere if you want a good beer.

Absolutely regretted ever drinking it every time I’ve had it (twice). And both times were free.

We drank this beer in high school simply because it was the cheapest beer we could buy. Also, since it was so cheap it almost seemed easier to purchase while under age. Go for it high schoolers.

Watery, smells very bad. Nothing to write home about but the taste is more neutral than bad.

Appearance: clear light straw with no head. Collar made of big bubbles which burst into oblivion in very short order. Swirls with a brief glimmer of a head, then nothing. No lace.
Nose: white bread and white bread crust. Wisp of lemon here and gone. Overall essence of wetness much like water is wet. More wonderbread crust.
Palate: wet and lemony, melted lemon ice. No finish whatsoever. Wet feeling of drinking a liquid but no real flavor persona whatsoever. Hint of white corn. Airy chewiness of wonderbread.
Final Thoughts: drink water. Seriously. Tastes better, less filling. Save the caloric enjoyment for something worth your while…like real beer.

I used to drink this stuff by the gallon in my college days. Not a craft brew, not rated as one. It is really the ultimate session beer. I’ve gone through 20 in a session before, and no bloated feeling or headache the next day. Another redeeming quality is that you can get a 12 pack for about six bucks. Popular with college kids.

How is the state beer of Tennessee not the worst beer in the world. It doesn’t even taste like beer but closer to fermented cat urine and it smells like a satanic fart. I’m guessing this shit is a big hit in the Palin household. (Rumor has it that Sarah did keg stands of this shit to aid in ovulation.)

Poured from the can with an ultra pale straw yellow color and a brief appearance is made by a foamy white head. The aroma is musty like a shower-floor in a room of an aging mid-priced national hotel chain. The flavor is a little better, with a predominately light sweet corn flavor giving way to a slightly metallic finish. Overall, although "mediocre" is certainly an accurate descriptor, this beer isn’t nearly as bad as its reputation would suggest.
