COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Light is brewed with a blend of premium American and imported hops, and a combination of malt and corn. Its longer brewing process produces a lighter body, fewer calories and an easy-drinking character.

Wonderfully blended, balanced and brewed for a consistently clean flavor, light body and satisfying refreshment.

Natural Light was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pale yellow with a fizzy, white head that is gone in seconds. No head retention, no lacing. Aroma: Light beer with a pleasing aroma my ass. Smells like skunk, cardboard, and light grain notes. Seriously, why do I do this to myself? Taste: Add water to the aroma and there you have it. Skunk, cardboard, and grain. Oh, and a touch of bitterness to really screw things up. Palate: Seriously? Medium-high carbonation with a light, watery mouthfeel and a short finish. Overall: Dear liver, I promise I will never filter such swill through you again. Yes, I know that I knew better before I attempted to drink this beer. However, please note that I poured out 90% of this beer. Now the lawn is pissed at me too. Please forgive my transgression. Respectfully yours, Elwood.

Basically the same as ice but with less alcohol. So I ask you this, how bad do you need your alcohol fix? hopefully not bad enough to be drinking this.

This was bland and tasteless when I was 16. My opinion hasn’t changed much since.

Yeah, and they call water natural, too. What a waste of time and malt and hops, etc. Actually, I’m not so sure they use any malt or hops in this junk.

16 oz. can. Light straw body, frothy white head. I just finished a Michalob Ultra, so this stuff wil probably taste thick. Wrong. Has that awful cardboard adjunct taste that I hate. Dry. Crap. Christ, I can make better homebrew, and I just started last week. When will the revolution begin? When will we rise above the BMC’s? This swill is insulting.

kidmartinek (1757) - austin, Texas, USA - APR 15, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2009 A golden,, clear beer, with slight bubbling and a 1 inch frothy, white head that only lasts 3 minutes Aroma of faint malt and light hops, but surprisingly,, not adjuncts, except rice maybe. Flavor is crisp,, watery,, and barely hoppy. Mouthfeel is full (heavy) for such a light flavored beer. Bite is weak, but lasting. Finish is moderately carbonated,, and slightly malty. Surprisingly, there is no metallic taste. This beer tastes better from the can than poured into a glass.
