COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Natural Light is brewed with a blend of premium American and imported hops, and a combination of malt and corn. Its longer brewing process produces a lighter body, fewer calories and an easy-drinking character.

Wonderfully blended, balanced and brewed for a consistently clean flavor, light body and satisfying refreshment.

Natural Light was Anheuser-Buschís first reduced-calorie light beer.

Natural Light is my favorite budget light beer. First of all, and this is a complete aside to the character of the beer, I appreciate ABís "Keep it Natural Carolinas" campaign. As a resident of North Carolina, itís nice to support a beer, though not local, that gives back to the coastal regions of the State. To those unfamiliar, the campaign features a 24 pack (used to be an 18 pack when I was in college that clearly featured Cape Hatteras lighthouse) with a slightly off white and black lighthouse and the slogan "Keep it Natural Carolinas." Apparently AB, or InBev, donates a portion of the North/South Carolina proceeds to preserving coastal areas in these states. To the beer. Yes, itís straw colored. This beer has a shockingly low 95 calories and only 3.2 g of carbs (in comparison, a regular 12oz Gatorade has 80 calories and...get this.. 21!!! g of carbs...that is SEVEN times as many carbs as this light beer). The taste is not watery, as so many suggest, but the taste is that of a domestic light beer. You know youíre drinking beer, and the flavor is refreshing and moderately carbonated. Alcohol percentage is approximately 4.1%. This beer is better than Busch Light, which to me is too sweet for a light beer, and in my opinion this beer exceeds the taste quality of Miller Lite, which literally tastes similar to cardboard. Bud Light and Natural Light I consider to be equals with different taste profiles - which beer is best depends on your own preferences. I do consider Coors Light to be slightly superior to this beer, as well as to Bud Light, but not enough to justify the price difference. Ultimately, weíre talking about domestic brews here, and I want to make it clear that Natural Light is actually pretty good. You canít go comparing this 60 cent per can beer to those that cost 2-5 bucks. Thatís just an unfair fight. In its category, this beer holds its own, and outside of its category, this beery has its followers. Itís light, itís crisp, itís refreshing, and itís inexpensive. What more could you want?

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 As close to water as a beer comes. Fewer tainted, skunky notes than Bud or Miller. Pointless.

355 ml can @ PBF IX. Thanks VastActiv. Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is very mild with notes of grains and some sweetness. Mild flavour of grains, some mild corn notes and almost noticeable bitterness. Light and mild.

Canned@PBF IX (thanks VastActiv!). Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, quite much maize and some herbs. Flavour is very similar. Still a rather clean beer. American raters really need to learn what a harsh beer is. This one is clean and inoffensive.

Pours pale golden color with a small head. Corn, hay and maybe some starch notes. Corn all over the flavor, grass and metallic notes also. Not that offensive but not that flavorful either.

355ml can, thanks VastActiv! @ PBF IX

Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of starch, metallic notes, corn and unpleasant notes. Taste is watery, metallic and bulky with hints of corn and starch. Finish is watery, with pretty much nothing else. Pretty much water with hints of starch and corn.

33 cl can @ PBF Ⅸ, canned 06/2013 Thanks VastActiv!
Aroma is quite nothing with some floury apples and hints of hay. Flavour has some floury apples and corn. Quite amazing how low this can be on flavour but still lack off-flavours. But how to rate a flavour or aroma that does not exist?

Another after hockey thirst quenching beer. Stole several to review, hereís my take. Always in a pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking off yellow color with a big transparency about it. Rapid carbonation was seen rising. There was a white filmy looking head that quickly dissipated. The smell had some cooked corn adjuncts and that was about it. The taste was sweet through the cooked corn. The palate sat exceptionally light, sessionable - well, it sure is. Overall, well, its an American Adjunct Lager, what does one expect? Hmmm...would I have it again, well, only if served, but I wouldnít go out of my way for this.
