UPDATED: SEP 26, 2009 A golden,, clear beer, with slight bubbling and a 1 inch frothy, white head that only lasts 3 minutes Aroma of faint malt and light hops, but surprisingly,, not adjuncts, except rice maybe. Flavor is crisp,, watery,, and barely hoppy. Mouthfeel is full (heavy) for such a light flavored beer. Bite is weak, but lasting. Finish is moderately carbonated,, and slightly malty. Surprisingly, there is no metallic taste. This beer tastes better from the can than poured into a glass.

College beer... When you can’t afford anything else and you want to get trashed, this will do

Oh, sweet Natty. Lived off of this beer through college. Watered down, tastes like razor ribbon and goes down to your stomach like a sack of batteries but it gets the job done. When you need a cheap beer for a kegger and you aren’t trying to impress, this is your beer. For $39.99/keg in Gainesville, Florida, this beer has a special place in my liver. As I once said to my younger brother who came up for a weekend, you don’t drink this for the taste, you drink for the cheapness and know that you are going to college so you don’t have to drink this when you grow up.

Best tasting affordable beer. A little presumptuous at the beginning but nice crisp finish.

This beer is about as middle-of-the-road as any beer on any shelf. Why choose it over anything else that is available?

24 ounce can. Pours yellow with a nice white head. Smells of light malt. Tastes watery with a hint of malty sweetness.

Great if you are on a budget and enjoy drinking stale tap water. One of my friend’s favorites, I’m thinking of dis-owning him.
