On tap at the brewpub - Pours cloudy brown with a thin wispy tan head. Notes of toasted malt, crisp lager yeast, caramel, toffee, lightly sweet finish, but mostly dry. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

On tap in the brewpub. Cloudy brown beer with an abundant and creamy head during all time that you are drinking the beer. Aroma to toasted malts, some sweet notes, coffee and dark chocolate. Well balanced with some sweet and licorice hints on palate. Soft carbonation and medium body.

Tap at the brewpub. Light aroma. Cloudy brown, lacing off-white head.
Good roast start, nice fruity notes quite Bavarian balance with grassy and light earthy hops. great chewy body miles away from the standard Spanish fare. Refreshing and pleasant. Gets the location bonus as well.

Cloudy brown pour, with an even foamy head, small bubbles. I couldn’t detect an aroma (but that’s typical for me). Had a large at the microbrew in Madrid. It was malty and a bit bitter, and definitely a toasty taste to the malt. There was a hint of sweetness, but it was hidden behind the bitter until I was about half done. At that point, I was used to the bitterness and could taste more of the sweetness. The bitter still took away from my impression -- it didn’t mesh well. It was ok, but I wasn’t really craving another one.

Draught at the BrewPub: Faint aroma of malt, slight nuts, and slight cocoa. Poured copper/amber/brow in color with a medium-sized, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy/slightly cloudy. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, nuts, Belgian yeast, slight spice, and a hint of molasses. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Nut and malt finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark copper, steady creamy tan head. Neutral caramel aroma. Some caramel, overall a bit too sweet, but still displaying some character. Well-balanced. Not too bad.

Draft half liter, in brewpub. Great looking tan head that hangs onto its volume for a long time. Not much aroma though, but what it has matches its taste: Caramel, toasted, sweet. A surprisingly bitter slightly skunky aftertaste that I’m assuming is on purpose (I’m not a Vienna style expert). They make this in house and sell a ton, so it’s gotta be fresh. Not much depth or complexity. An average beer, but hey, if you’re in Spain it’s a great alternative to the usual pils.

Draught at Naturbier Cervezas (Madrid).
Dark brown color, much fraught and impenetrable one. Beautiful head hat, resistant and voluminous. Slightly burnt aroma with notes of roast caramel, braced cereals, dry wood. Balanced, stinging, bitter, slightly alcoholic taste.
