COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask 3.8% & Bottled 4.0%

Cravenbrau is brewed using Lager malt along with our traditional Ale malt. We also use German hops more commonly found in a lager to give a clean crisp refreshing pint. Cravenbrau is bottle coditioned- it matures and carbonates naturally, due to the yeast sediment present.

Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Paler golden-yellow with a thin head. It’s an ale with plenty of lager character and an underlying fruitiness.

Live rate. 500ml from Rhythm N’ Booze, Cleethorpes. Dusty yellow with not much in the way of head or condition. Mellow biscuit and lemon nose with yeast, honey and agricultural suggestions. Bit vapid and washy on the palate with notes of honey, green herb, minerals, dunked biscuits and aluminium. Perfectly inoffensive.

Bottle (filtered, 3.8%) from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Faintly hazy gold, moderate but lasting white head, moderate condition. Gentle citrus hop in the nose with some pine resin and chalky maltiness, quite full bodied in the mouth with a pleasing balance of sweet malt and a solid resinous hop note laced with pine and lemon, finish has a lingering chalkiness and more citrusy hops.

berkshirejohn (4645) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 10, 2010
50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring, at a stated ABV of 3.8%. A bright and attractive straw colour with a ring of white head; crisp German hop aroma; surprisingly full bodied in the mouth with some fizz and a well-balanced honey sweetness; followed by a really dry finish. A excellent beer for its strength.

Cask conditioned handpump George Tiffield. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. A grassy hoppy aroma with floral notes. It’s a fresh tasty beer with obvious lager ingredients and aimed at the crossover crew.
