Mes_and_Sim (4476), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 30, 2008 A Mes rate: cask at Baker Street ’Sporks. Pale amber with a thin white head. Lovely cascadey aroma with some good earthy malt and slight straw and caramel. The flavour is pretty much as nose. A good fruity malt base, pleasant caramel and some decent notes of earth and wood. Excellent bitter finish with some late nutty notes.
Pretty good stuff. Pub (4103), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 27, 2008 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with white head. Sweetish malty beer with a caramel body then just hints of a floral hop on the finish. The sweetness becomes a little cloying, but still a reasonable beer.
