JDW Waterhouse 22.Jan 13. Gyldenbrun. Tett, litt farget skum. Fester seg som nivåmerker på glasset. God fruktaroma. Smaken er svisker & aprikos. God fylde. Litt syrlig bitterhet i avslutninga.

Cask conditioned handpump Moon On The Square Northampton 30/03/13. An amber rather than golden coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A decent hoppy beer with parma violets flavours. A decent body and a fruity aroma. It’s fine.

Cask, half at JDWs Waterhouse. Bright golden body, white layer covering the surface, laces well. Dry hopped aroma with lemon nuances. Bittersweet fruity flavour, hints of resin and juicy malts. Dry bitter ending. A bit floury. Ok with the traditional English breakfast (Manchester, 22.01.2013).

Scrawled in coloured pencil on a Mother’s Day flyer, The Baron, 22/01/13....bright gold with a low, speckling head. Grapefruit, biscuit, grass and lemon zest hop aroma. Good crisp grapefruit, red apple and blackcurrant notes over biscuit. Drying finish with husk, maybe a touch of rauch? Good.

Cask at JDW Arthur Robertson; hazy amber poor, off white head, sweet malt aroma, malt taste with a minimum of hop quite bitter, not a crowd please but is ok to drown my sorrows in 0 fucking 3 to Wigan an egg chasing town.

Cask @ The Edward Wyllie JDW. Golden amber colour, reasonable head. Biscuit fruity resin malt flavour. Creamy citrus fruit & resin flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Reasonable golden ale.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - pours clear pale golden with a good white head and mild fruity hop aroma, well balanced with fruity and slightly grassy flavour, no prolonged aftertaste, nice
