Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Scunthorpe. Gold, thin but lasting white head and good condition. Some grainy malt, honeyed sweetness and a pleasant peppery spiciness in the nose, full flavoured and grainy in the mouth with a solid hop bitterness and a slight grapefruit citrus note. Finish is chalky with a lingering dominant hop bitterness.

Light gold with a lasting frothy white head. Smels flowery with citrus, wheat and malt. Medium sticky body. Slight sour element to the taste of citrus but mild compared to an IPA. Dry hoppy finish, with a bit of plastic. Sweet taste that finishes bitter. Goes down easy. Refreshing.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Fruity resin aroma. Golden yellow colour, good head. Resin, biscuit malt flavour, bitter aftertaste.

Tasted this in The Esquire House, Glasgow (JDW) in November 2007. Cask, handpump dispense. crystal clear pale amber in colour with a thin white head. Slight note of dusty hop flowers in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt base gives a thin digestive bisscuit base with weak citric notes of grapefruit peel and gooseberry. Strong dusty hop resins give an intense bitter aftertaste with floral notes. Finish has a slightly sweet edge of golden syrup but this fades fast as it runs out of legs. A decent enough Golden Ale but lacks depth and complexity..

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour with small beige foamy head, that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is sweet malts, bready malts with some slight herbal and fruity notes. Flavour is being quite much similar with some quite citrusy notes. Pleasant.

Bottle 500ml.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bright caramel, bright nutty, light to moderate yeasty, plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100101]

Cask Handpump at the Guide Inn, Hainworth 14/03/2009 Hoppy aroma. Golden hoppy and fruity with a little dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Bottle: Brilliant gold with a wheaty white head. Fuddy and yet hoppy aromas. Smells watery somehow. Grassy. The mouth is rather tastily biting but with a very mellow straw-like finish. Very green, a little fruity, a little sour. A little over fizzed leading to some belching. Pretty good but darned boring.

Bottle from Realale.com. Golden with a big white head. Delicious grassy toffee aroma. Yeasty and bitter flavours. Quite nice.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with spicy notes of elderberries as well as light notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and spicy notes of elderberries. The body is thin.
