This new, very dark mild has a silky-smooth character, with aromas of chocolate and coffee, complementing the mellow, malty flavour, leading to a mild, light finish. Hops used: Celeia, Magnum

Bottle from York Beer & Wine. This is a dark brown beer with malty, nutty and slight red fruity flavours followed by a roasted finish. Very good for a low ABV beeer.

Pretty average mild, not especially sweet or nutty. A simple session beer, not a great example of mild.

April, 2012 JDW, Rochester. Chocolate malts prominent, developing a raspy burnt flavour that is dry, robust and interesting. Drinkable, though not sure how much I could take.
