Aroma: Light grain/straw, no hops. Appearance: Brilliant light gold body. Small, white head, low retention. Flavour: Medium-light malt, balancing bitterness. Dry finish with light lingering maltiness Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-high carbonation. Light carbonic sting. Overall: Great example. Easy drinking, refreshing, crisp. 375 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 1B. Standard American Lager

golden with small white head. Some floral hops in aroma. Typical industrial pilsner in mouthfeel and carbonation. Aftertaste is dry with some floral hops, cardboard and some sweet crystal malt in the end. Overall: okay.

375 ml green bottle. Trade with Holmen2. Clear golden body with a small dense off-white head. Notes of hay and light malts on the nose. Bitterness and sweetness is fairly balanced. As it heats a few degrees this beer starts to suffer to what most industrial lagers suffer from: papery bitterness and notes of acetone but it not as bad as many of it’s siblings.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2013 Bottle at Africa House in Zanzibar. Golden in colour. Large, white head that quickly diminishes. Some hop aroma and taste. Slightly crude bitterness, short aftertaste. A decently refreshing pilsner to enjoy when the temperatur outside lingers at 30 degrees.

Bottle: Medium sized slowly changing creamy white foamy head on top of a clear yellow light golden colored beer. Aromas of malts, grains, herbs and grass ish tones. Flavours of malts, cream, marzepin peach sweets (light), hops and herbs. Aftertaste has malts, herbs and floral and light dusty dry touch. Low carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, low to medium body and a light creamy texture.

Bottle. Another east African pale lager. I swear they are all the same beer bottled in different packages.

375ml bottle. Pours a clear medium gold, with a smallish white head, which does not last well, but does leave some lace. The aroma has some grainy malt and floral and spice hops. There are some floral hops up front, followed by grainy malt and some white bread. There are some mild spice hops in a dry finish. By no means excellent, but a cut above the other Tanzanian lagers I have sampled (a very minimal compliment).
