Fruity in flavor, blond in color. Perfect marriage between a blond Belgian beer of top-fermentation and an old artisanally distilled genever.

Piana drobno p?cherzykowa, do?? solidna, bia?a. Lekko kwaskowy, miodowy, s?odki i suchy - ziemisty.

Zoetig en kruidig in de mond. Bitterige afdronk met jenevertoets.

Dorée trouble, effervescence faible, col blanc moyen.

Blonde beer reinforced with artisanal ’jenever’, a distilled beverage related to gin and typical for the eastern parts of the Low Countries. Misty golden blonde with a thick foamy head; pale malts in the nose, citrus peel, some dried spices (especially coriander) and indeed a presence of jenever, which actually disturbs me a little. Sweet basis taste, some jenever again, spiciness, yeasty with herbal hop bitterishness in the finish. Too sweet for me and I do not like actual spirits applied in beer (though admittedly it stays relatively subtle here), that reminds me too much of the ’duikboot’ principle, where people add jenever to Duvel or other beer in order to get drunk as soon as possible.
