I had this a while back but didn’t rate it first time round, opinion was very low. Decided to give it another bash. Tap at Bat. cloudy brown with off white head. Aroma of peppry spice, phenolic with some sharper lemony notes, earth and peterol. Taste is pretty weird, peppry spice, citrus, berries, banana. Although separately the flavours don’t really suggest Neapolitan, together i can kind of see it. Smooth texture with a bitter finish. Better than before but still not a big fan

Small festival glass, draught at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, first session. Unclear light amber coloured body. Huge white head, dissipating. Drying fruity hops to the nose. Flavoured of fresh and dried fruits joined by airy wheat, leading to a nice touch of bitter citrus peels towards the ending. Medium bodied. Well made with fine drinkability (02.05.2014).

Keg at the Old Coffee House, Soho, 09/10/13. Murky orange amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is raspberry jam, light caramel, sharp hops, light spice. Taste comprises a good sorachi ace punch, citrus, mineral notes, caramel, light pine, berry fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finish. Drinkable stuff if a little unbalanced, not a dunkle, not sure what to class this as !?!

Cask at Old Coffee House. Murky brown pour with no head. Doesn’t look pleasing but carries itself better after this. Nose is quite sweet with heavy tangy citric fruits, light doughy bread and some medium chocolate and roast. Lemon cake like taste with orange rind, blood orange and a nut driven base. Works quite well. Very easy drinking. Nice

Draught at Mikkeller and Friends. Murky orange brown with a large, creamy, beige head. Dill! Coconut! Rancid butter - very much the aromas of Sorachi Ace set to a caramel malty backbone. Notes of bread and sweet ripe berries. Slightly musty banana with clove accents. A very distinct beer with a rough, hoppy, surprisngly bitter finish. A beer, that doesn’t fit strict style-categories. Original and delicious, high drinkabillity.
