COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Neath Ales Black is a premium beer. Superb dark malt flavour is balanced by a refreshing hop bitterness and an outrageous amount of late/aroma hops.

Cask Conditioned Gravity Dispense St Albans BF 2010. A near black headless beer with a smoky fishy oily aroma. Fruity smoky and roasty in the mouth. A nice stouty beer.

(bottle conditioned). Dark malts jumped out at me in 3D in the nose...tart cherries ,i reckon too. beige head was fast to die above a glass of blackness -with pieces of sediment swimming around. These flavours show rich black malts , with chocolaty roast .hop resiny bitterness ..some ashy chalk ..oil . And a cutting subtle sour edge. This stout is pretty flavourful and compact.

Cask at St Albans BF 2010. Black, dark brown edges. Touch of fruit, bit of tarry blackcurrant. OK.
