COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of the classic English-style Nut Brown Ale has a blend of 6 different malts and very little hop bitterness. The malts are nutty and sweeter tilting toward coffee, toffee, and caramel.

Tried this at Eastside club in Olympia. Interesting beer lots of malt forwardness to this beer, I was hoping for more of a balance.

12 oz. can from Wilbur’s. Appearance: 2 fingers light brown head, light brown color, clear, Aroma: nutty, light citrus, light vanilla, light chocolate, slight molasses. Palate: medium light body, average carbonation, slightly oily texture, light citrus bitter finish. Taste: sweet nutty and caramel sweetness with slight notes of vanilla and chocolate intermixed, very subtle citrus bitterness on the end. Overall, very drinkable, very smooth, vanilla is interesting. Really nice beer, appearance is a little off for me.

Light coffee in both taste and smell. Good bitterness which fills the upper part of the mouth a weak moment. Good beer but maybe a little empty in taste. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, earth, toffee into a bit of grain, slight toast into some watery caramel. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, cocoa into a bit of toast, slight yeast into a bit of grain, touch of spice, finishing sweet, dry.

Tap at Blind Tiger, Nyc. Nut brown color, good off-white head. Aroma has caramel and light toasted maltyness. Medium-bodied. Some caramalt in front, then bready notes with earthy hoppyness. Short, even watery finish. Simple.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a smallish light tan head on there. Nose is a bit light, but has some toasting and nuttiness coming through with just a hint of toffee. Taste has just a hint of sweetness, but is dominated by a crisp caramel-toast note. Interesting brew.

Can at home. Pours brown with one finger of off white head. Aroma is slightly malty and some toffee/caramel. Flavor follows with some nuttiness. Slightly sweet. Decent beer.

Deep hazy nutty amber with a thin light beige head. Basic brown ale nose of nutty pale chocolate malt and earthiness. Medium body with a quasi boring brown ale malt body. This brown ale is a prime example of why I’m bored of brown ales. No nuance, no fuss. Just brown malts on a medium palate.

Poured from can. Pours brown with a off white head. Light roasted malt aroma with nuttiness. Flavor is a sweet caramel malt with roasted notes and nutty malt flavor. Very nice.
