3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium brown pour (SRM18), with two finger tan head. Aroma is nutty roasty light malt. Slightly roasty medium malt feel, mild hop character (just enough so it's not sweet). Very nice, very drinkable, hint sweet but not sugary nut brown.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can: Mild aroma of dried leaves, pecans, coffee. Clear brown, thin yellow head. Coffee and pecan flavor, a little better intensity, but still fairly mild. Neutral, neither sweet nor dry. Light body, easy carbonation. Quaffable and sessionable, but not too boring.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Pours a really clear and lovely medium brown with a soft, fine-grained, off-white, lacy head. Nose is smoke, dust, roast, and nutty yeast. Dry and rich without being overwhelming on the tongue; smoke, black tea, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, and roast pecans. Finish is long, clean, and a touch tannic. Really good example of one of my favorite styles. I could drink a lot of these.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aromas of toasted malts and caramel, with hints of nuts and suggestions of coffee. When held to the light, the pour is a clear but dark reddish-brown with a short-lived tan head and minimal lacing. M-m-m This a very tasty brew considering the ABV. Its malt forward in flavor - toasted malts, nuts, bread, and caramel. Medium body and moderate carbonation. In summary, my first beer from Nebraska and it was worth the wait. The is not flat like Newcastel.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A- Malty, slightly nutty, subtle caramel.
A- Dark mahogany color, clear liquid, beige head.
T- Malty, caramel, slightly nutty, toasty, toffee.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- It’s a Brown Ale. Brown Ales are never really anything exciting. This pretty much fits the mold. Fairly bland and lots of malts.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Serving: Can from State Line Liquors. It pours a medium brown with a decent light tan head. The nose is straight foward. There is a good bit of roasted nuts and a little earthy note. The flavor is text book nut brown with a light roast, good bit of nuttiness, a little earthy bitterness. Overall very drinkable and a good session brew.
