"Floral characteristics are a little on the weak side, overall a decent pale ale that disk stand out but was not at all hateful either. I’d try again but wouldn’t seek out."

The Sampler, Brooklyn can ($2.49): Pours amber, kind of muddy, with an off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, malt, hints of citrus. Taste is somewhat hoppy, but extremely well balanced with the malt backbone. Pretty nice.

Can from Zipp’s Liquors. Great citrus nose, cake-like sweetness, some piney notes, and a little stank. Rich medium-dark gold color, rocky head. Good balance right off, some light tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), and edge of sourness, and a balanced finish. Medium-light body. They got this one just right. Light and easy. Quite hoppy for a pale ale.

Drought. Golden yellow with spongy beige head, floral hops aroma, smooth hoppy taste with a hint of lavender, low carbonation, abrupt finish. Enjoyable, easy drinking.

Dark golden, bordering on orange color. Thin pale white head. Clean orange pine aroma. Certainly calls to mind cascade, if that's not actually what it is. Nice hop flavors up front, bready malt in the middle, and a clean dry piney finish. I could use a slightly drier malt character, but this is a minor fault. A touch buttery in the front, which I also don't love. Otherwise I like the balance, like the simple (classic) hop tones, like the finish. Serviceable, pleasant pale ale.

Seemed totally average. Too malty. Would much rather have a pale ale by Boulevard, Sierra Nevada, or Oskar Blues

Small off white head, short lived, decent lace.Clear, pale gold color. Nose is malty with iced tea notes, slight citrus. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Grainy malt flavors, iced tea notes again, faint hoppyness. Lightly sweet finish, grainy. 12oz. can from statelineliquors.
